SALKA ENERGY is a renewable energy company focused on creating the energy of tomorrow by developing, constructing and arranging financing for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Walker Ridge is a New Build project located on BLM land on the border of Lake and Colusa Counties.
Salka did not originate, but rather acquired, Walker Ridge in June 2016 from a utility affiliate.
The project expects to create up to 125 new jobs and it is anticipated a Project Labor Agreement will be executed.
In November 2017 Salka entered into a Purchase and Sale Agreement however the counter party, detailed terms and conditions are confidential.
